#1: LEGO Art World Map 31203

At the time of writing, this is the biggest lego build ever.

It is a bit surprising to us that the LEGO Art World Map holds the title. It’s certainly not what we would have expected.

If you’re used to the standard LEGO building experience, this set is certainly not that. The time spent building the World Map is different, but surprisingly not boring.

Extras:

  • A giant brick separator and crow bar are given to remove pieces more quickly.
  • Once the initial build is complete, the set will have plenty of leftover pieces should you be interested in customizing the ocean tiles to your liking.
  • The set comes with a LEGO technic element which allows you to hang the finished set on your wall.

As LEGO Art, this piece is designed to be hung on your wall once it’s built. It’s over one meter long and depicts an accurate world map.

Explore the world with this LEGO set without ever leaving home! This is a perfect LEGO gift for adults interested in geography!

#2: LEGO Titanic 10294

If you or your child is fascinated by the largest and most sumptuous luxury liner that ever sailed, this Titanic LEGO set is for you.

The Titanic was called the ship that “not even God himself could sink.” Today, we know that isn’t true, but LEGO has recreated the legendary ship at a 1:200 model with over 9,000 pieces.

Not only will you get to see all the external details with this LEGO set, but you’ll also get to see cross-sections with interior details (ex: grand staircase, the engine room, some staterooms) as well.

The Titanic LEGO set may take the award for the most impressive.

The Titanic LEGO model is so large, that the main box contains 3 smaller boxes inside of it.

If you are considering buying this set, make sure you have a place to display it! This LEGO model is an excellent option if you are looking for LEGO lighting kits to spruce up the display.

#3: LEGO Star Wars AT-AT 75313

This LEGO set recreates the famous scene from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back with an AT-AT that has movable, posable legs.

At 25 inches tall, it’s the perfect addition to your Star Wars collection if you’re avidly accumulating merchandise or memorabilia from the fandom.

It’s also the single most expensive LEGO set to be released to date.

We must point out the price difference between the LEGO AT-AT and the LEGO Titanic. The only plausible explanation is an increase in licensing taxes for Star Wars / Disney, etc.

Regardless, the AT-AT is a huge achievement for the Star Wars community and a fantastic build.

#4: LEGO Ninjago City Gardens 71741

Compared to all the other LEGO sets on this list, the Ninjago City Gardens set is incredibly colorful.

Formerly the biggest set of all time, this replica of the Taj Mahal will keep you occupied for quite a while. Dedicate a few long periods of time to assemble this beautiful take on a historic world monument.

The only part that isn’t perfect with the LEGO Creator Expert Taj Mahal is the rounded dome roof. LEGO can do many things, but when you want a smooth ball you’ll have to settle for something a little more bumpy. Despite that, the detail on the exterior is picture perfect, all the way up to the gilded minarets at the top of every pinnacle.
